Electronic Products Ind. Inc. is looking for, and willing to train an entry level manufacturing inspector. We have recently promoted some of our staff (you could be next) which makes room for others to join us, learn and expand their experience.

Job Description: Manufacturing Inspector

Job requirements:

  • Use tweezers, microscope and ability to handle small parts
  • Use a microscope with a reticle
  • Use manual measuring equipment: micrometers, calipers, gages, gage pins, test equipment
  • Read and follow written directions on process docs, work instructions, test plans
  • Read part drawings
  • Take verbal and written direction for inspection of materials
  • Use weight scales
  • Work both independently and in a team environment
  • Interact directly with Management, Engineering and fellow staff

Candidates must be:

  • authorized to work within the United States of America.
  • able to speak, read and write in English.
  • at least 18 years old.
  • comfortable working with small parts.

Manufacturing inspectors are responsible for inspection and test of all incoming, in-process, and final products as required. A significant amount of time will be spent viewing parts with low-power microscopes. Process documentation, drawings, visual aids and one-on-one training will be provided. Inspectors will record results, approve/reject material and provide feedback to related departments. All safety requirements must be followed. Training fellow employees may eventually be required. All personnel will be trained to understand and support the EPI Quality Management System.EPI staff are routinely deployed to cross-train in many departments so that:

  1. Employees will fully understand EPI product processing and the Quality Management System
  2. We can allow for employee scheduling flexibility
  3. Employees are provided hands-on education and training and opportunities for growth within EPI.
